So I’m sitting with a cup of tea in hand at a hair salon having a chat and relishing in the fact that I have a few hours to myself. Once upon a time, I used to dread going to appointments. I was always too restless to sit still most of the time. Since having my children and taking on a busy work schedule, I look forward to my regular appointments. Nowadays I'll take any excuse to make a booking just so I can sit uninterrupted. Yep, wax appointments are now my thing. While my hair colour is developing, I take a copy of Harper’s Bazaar (US Edition) and begin to flick through September's designer fashion. I come across an interview with Hannah Bronfman, Restauranteur, DJ and founder of Beautified - a trendy mobile app that allows you to book last minute salon appointments in New York. In her interview, she list’s her must follows on social media.  To my sheer surprise, she mentions ME alongside Nike, Olivier Rousteing, Nicole Richie and Beyonce in her fave follow list. I had a ‘are you freaking kidding?!’ moment, a massive squeal and a serious head swell. Ok, maybe not the last bit but damn it felt good! I've been on a high ever since. I feel privileged to be in a position where I can inspire people around the world to make healthy food choices. Social media has brought people closer than ever, and I'm loving being part of it.
