When I come across something amazing, I can't help but share. This is how I feel a lot of the time. My need to share, with a goal to inspire and create positive change, literally drives me in my mission every day. My need to share was what inspired me to create and share recipes in the early days with Hippie Lane. When I'm asked what inspired me to birth and grow Hippie Lane, I always come back to this. My desire to help. My need to assist in positive growth. I just can't shake it. It fills me up, keeps me focused and motivates me to keep on going.  

So you won't be surprised when I say that I that I can't help but share my newest love with you - the latest in Hippie Lane - my healing candles. 

I co-created these incredible candles with energetic healer, Irene Payne. I just knew when we met, that with our natural connection, expertise in our respective fields, and our combined spirit and passion for wellness, that we needed to create something magical together.

After feeling completely transformed each time I visited her, I reached out to create a range of healing candles, dropper oils for the body and for diffuser and sprays for cleansing and purifying your space (stay tuned - oils and sprays are coming soon), energised by her healing hands, and infused with custom herbs and botanicals, that would assist in my journey of growth, self awareness and healing. We went back and forth, had many sessions, talked ingredients, their purpose and energetic frequency until we reached a blend (or four!) that felt absolutely right.

I fell so in love, I would share all my oil concoctions with my family and friends, the practitioners I visited and anyone who talked wellness with me. And in true Taline style, I couldn't resist but to take it further, out into the world. I decided to invest in our co-creation and produce our candles, oils and sprays for Hippie Lane, so I can share the magic with you. I am so passionate about finding ways to improve wellbeing, and am always compelled to share my findings. It's like it's not complete if I can't share!

This is a passion project for me, something I really value and deeply honour is that I get to bring the best of what I know and love to you. It means everything to me, and provides ongoing inspiration with all things Hippie Lane. 

The energetic vibration that these candles omit do not come close to anything I have tried before. Irene, my healer whom I trust with all my heart and soul, is responsible for their other-worldly qualities. With my creative direction and vision for aroma + scent, and Irene's incredible energy, we really hit a high - they are each so powerful and incredibly special.

There is a whole heap of healing energy and a bounty of natural ingredients that make up each of these candles. They are not your ordinary candle! 100% natural and sustainable, with no added artificial fragrances, they are made with 100% soy wax, blended with organic essential oils, healing herbs and botanicals.

They have been energised with healing mantras, and specifically created and programmed at particular times throughout the moon cycles, to embed the power of the universe in each candle. We have chosen crystals to lift the energetic frequency with each burn. They literally radiate!

Here is a breakdown of each of the four candles.

Love + Protect

A special blend of Frankincense & Spice, the Love + Connect  Candle is the ideal candle to burn when in need of warmth and nurturing, deep love and connection. Blended with love inducing crystals, nourishing herbs and spices, and infused with chakra chants, Love + Connect will bring about a state of inner love, heart healing and a feeling of inner beauty & magic within you.

Love + Protect was the most special in my planning. It was definitely the candle that I was most excited about as we got to work with our blends. Love is the most fundamental and powerful of all human emotions - our ability to love intimately and deeply really sets us up for a fulfilling and enriching life. Our capacity to love and accept ourselves determines the quality of loving relationships we have with others. In order to be able to be open, intimate and loving to others, we need to work on our relationship with ourself. Love + Protect is the candle you go for to get in the loving mood. It will open your heart to allow for self compassion and healing as it works to soothe and nurture our relationship with ourself and our ability to send and receive love to and from others. Love + Protect will help you drop from your head to your heart space, which in turn will help you to stay connected to your feelings and allow for emotional shifts and progress. This is an incredible candle to allow for deep intimacy with your partner ♥ The scent is so beautifully intoxicating, it will leave you on a high.

Aventurine stones are used for inviting wealth, good luck, and abundance into your life. Known as the Stone of Opportunity, Aventurine brings a harmony between mind, body and spirit, inducing a sense of completeness to the spiritual space that will often translate into a newfound confidence. Aventurine opens the heart chakra to help you recognise what truly excites you.

Uplift + Radiate

A radiant blend of Ylang Ylang, Bergamot and Oakmoss, The Uplift + Radiate candle awakens the senses and energises your being with it’s sweet yet earthy citrus-y fragrance. With a goal to lift you to an elevated state, this is the perfect candle to burn before a night out, or when in need of a natural energy high. A delicious blend produced to enliven your senses.

This is a favourite with my children who really come alive in positive energy and radiance when in contact with Uplift + Radiate. This particular blend took myself and Irene the longest to formulate out of the four blends, as we played around with doses and oils to create the perfect fusion of harmony, strength and optimism. If you’re new to our candles, start with Uplift and Radiate  as it will set the tone for what’s to come.

This is the candle you go for if want assistance in letting go of past hurts, any blocked emotions you are holding onto and old unconscious belief systems. I hope I have been able to express the superpowers of these incredible candles to you. I am so proud of the way they tried out. It took at least 6-8 months to get to here. The planning and execution was a labour of love, and it was totally worth every moment. I have enjoyed it all and feel so grateful to have the opportunity to present them to you.
